Week One - January 22nd (6-8pm GMT):
The magical & the mundane: discover the unique art to writing fairy tales (and fairy tale adaptations) the techniques of which curiously contradict the "rules" of most creative writing classes for "normal" novels...
Week Two - February 19th (6-8pm GMT):
The fantastical: discover how to utilise fantastical tropes in new and exciting ways, with a focus on portal fantasies such as The Chronicles of Narnia, Alice in Wonderland, Stardust and many more...
Week Three - March 4th (6-8pm GMT):
The tragic hero & the fatal flaw: discover how to create compelling and sympathetic flawed characters, with an emphasis on stories with sorrowful but satisfying endings. (Read/watch Remains of the Day, if possible)
